Day 15: Rest Day in Santa Fe

The Cathedral Basilica of St Francis of Assisi

Rest day #2 allowed us to sleep in, do laundry, wash the bikes, and do a little sightseeing in Santa Fe.

Bike wash. (The pictures of doing laundry were even less interesting.)

Central Santa Fe was hopping on Saturday afternoon with art fairs, musicians in the plaza, and people everywhere. We couldn’t even get in to the Georgia O’Keeffe museum as it was sold out. Santa Fe is a great place to visit.

We chose a nice Southwestern lunch over the Apothecary Kitchen Experience.

After that it was back to the hotel for napping and watching the Cardinals beat the Dodgers.

Tomorrow we climb to the highest point on the trip as we go to Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Santa Fe is indeed a gorgeous town. Spent a lot of time there after my Mom moved to Chama…

Santa Fe is a magical city. Clair and I vowed to go back, sadly that didn’t happen. I am enjoying you adventure.
    Happy Belated Birthday.
