Today was a nice, nearly flat day along Lake Pend Oreille, east into Montana, north along Bull River, and then east along the Kootenai River to Libby. Although rain threatened the whole day we got only a few drops and had a tailwind most of the time.

We saw a few eagles, one in the nest. No other wildlife.

Oregon has U-pick blackberries and pumpkins. Montana has its own version.

Tonight we’re in the very small town of Libby, MT. There’s lots of carved art, even though I don’t know what some of it represents.

Tomorrow it’s an early start as we hope to avoid heavy rain in the afternoon. There’s fresh snow in the mountains tonight.
